One of the purposes of this blog is to assist gout sufferers. In order to do so, I point out some genetic mutations that could contribute to the disease. Here I'll point out some products that I found helpful on my journey with gout.
My "go to" remedy if it feels like I'm about to have another gout attack is Nature's Plus extended release black cherry tablets. I moved recently and it looks like my grocery store does not sell them, so to Amazon I go!
Drinking lots of lemon water. Just squeeze some freshly cut lemon wedges into some water and drink up.
Drink some R.W. Knudsen organic Just Tart Cherry juice whenever I start feeling achy.
If I'm tired of lemon water and do not want to drink juice (which has a good amount of sugar) I drink Le Croix sparkling water. My favorite flavor is mango since it is one of the stronger flavors. Thankfully my grocery store sells it. Sometimes I add a little 365 liquid organic Stevia Extract to add some sweetness without the sugar consequences.
Now you know what I do to prevent gout attacks, but what is your remedy of choice? Let me know how it's working for you.
